Mini Fuji Instax 25 | | チェキ Hello Kitty (JPN) [OPENING V-DAY PRESENT]

Remember my post from January 9th, 2011?!?
I talked about the Mini Fuji Instax 7s & 25 version.

I can't believe my baby bought me this new toy straight from JAPAN!! *OMG* It even has the JAL sign & nicely "taped" box with the Asian brown tape! *haha I feel like a noob kid*

I was in disbelief at first when he told me he got something big for me! I thought he was going to just take me to a romantic restaurant, get me a chocolate (which he already did), or buy me a chocolate combo from Godiva or something! But not THIS big! :)

They sell this on Amazon for $313- here OR if you're lucky, again I will re-post here, on eBay, you can find it for less! I have mentioned on my previous post that Fuji Mini Instax can get to as low as $80, that is (I repeat) the original Fuji Instax camera (without the チェキ sign & Hello Kitty engraved on the top right of the camera---lower version of 25: 7s).

Also, from previous experience of the "older" version of this camera- "Fuji Instax 7s," they do not have many options/choices. For example, Fuji Instax 7s does not have an "auto flash" or "panoramic" view. That is pretty much what you are sacrificing (IMO). However, if you're like a HELLO KITTY freak (nicer: LOVER), you might want to get the チェキ Hello Kitty Version of Fuji Instax Mini 25! 25 is the upgraded version (duh! lol).
I've been playing with this thing for over 2-3 hours, getting my fingerprints all over it! Making sure that I know how to use this, of course. What I found to be interesting is how CUTE & TINY the Polaroids are. It's adorable!


Anyhoo, now I have a new collection to my camera!!!

I'm sure it's not quite "known". At least, not in CA. Not as much as in Asia. Want to be technical? Probably a handful of people from CA knew about this fascinating camera. LOL. This Fujifilm Instax Mini cameras are just like polaroids (classics), but mini versions. Definitely cute & very chic. You know how polaroids are "huge", this "mini" takes on a literal meaning of tiny, teeny, mini. It'll even fit into your jacket pocket. I love it, but I don't have it :[

Here's the comparison:

It's cute how they have different "frames". It can be Hello Kitty or Mickey Mouse, or any Japanese cute characters. Down side: REALLY FREAKIN EXPENSIVE. Unless, you have the moolahs- yeah, definitely buy them.

This is how the mini polaroids will look like. They're really mini and so cute. I'm not sure if they're worth the money to pay for the whole thing- but it's definitely a cute thing to have if you like "cute" stuffs.

Price Range: $87~$200ish

Film: $$$ (Depends if you want plain or animated)

If you're lucky, you can find a cheap one on eBay that can cost up to $70. Whoas. I'll show you guys what I mean when I say "CUTE".

Ever since the big Polaroid cameras disappeared, I've been meaning to find a suitable "substitute" for those classics. I think I've stumbled upon someone's blog (forgot which) and found this cute little thing. (I know I'm late, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of girls/people out there who may not know about this)
Indeed, it is pretty popular in Japan :) and Asia-wide.
