Alright! First, you must promise me that your life will go on after you find out that your so-called 'friend(s)' de-friend you on Facebook. No need to create fighting spree over it.

However, wouldn't you want to find out who it is? Nevertheless, it is a big issue. In fact, I have something better! I have something that will tell you who defriended you and who deactivated their Facebook! ... best yet, it's free! Don't fall for scams.

I know, I know... I'm kind of on the late side. iOS 5 has been out since days ago, and I just started blogging about it. Oh bother... Never mind this. It's now or never!

You know a lot of people just update their iOS5 and ignore all the neat tricks you can do with the iPhone now? I mean, SIRI? Oh that's just one of the many awesome add-on Apple integrated within the iOS.

But there are more to iOS 5 than meets the eyes! I'm definitely impressed at the iPhone 4S, but I'm not getting it. Why? My stupid-darn-contract with AT&T. I still have one more year to go. I'm not alone here, I know there are many of you having the same dilemma. You want it, but you don't want it or can't have it!

RANT (you can skip this if you want!):
Yes, I have the iPhone 4- yes, black. Sadly, the screen cracked a few months ago. No, I'm not proud to say this, but it's due to heat. I left my iPhone in the car for 4 hours on July 4th-- yes while I was busy shopping-- and my car was under the hot burning (you can cook an egg- type of heat) for more than 3 hours. I think an animal can die in there. So, I'm assuming I got this (while I was outside busy shopping):

Have you guys ever got this message on your screen? It would need 100 degrees+ condition to be even remotely close to getting this message on your iPhone, or of course if and when your iPhone is feeling hot after charging, etc...

Okay, I never once can make one of those Apple employees at the store to believe me that the hair-line crack that appeared on my screen is not a possible cause of me being IRRESPONSIBLE and dropping it. In fact, there is just NO way! My iPhone was sitting on the seat of my car comfortably. It was already cracked when I found it in my car. But what can I say? Truth be told, but no one will believe me. You just can't handle the truth! Warning: Don't put your iPhone in a situation where it will get cooked.

Alright, I'll get back on track. Getting back on iOS 5 topic! The neaty gritty stuff that you can't find on your little manual book (well you can... but you're too lazy to open it) Don't worry!

You know how your notifications can be seen on top now? Yeah, you want to see it in the middle or on top, your choice now! You want people to see your text messages on your lock screen? Then put it in the middle as alerts. Otherwise, go by banners. It'll POOF in a matter of seconds. OR NONE. You're some secret spy agent.

Did you know? From your camera, you can swipe to see the pictures you've taken- to Album?
Did you know? You PINCH and UNPINCH the screen to ZOOM/UNZOOM?

5) iMessage Colors!

6) Crazy Vibration!
Have you ever wanted to make your vibration cooler than BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ? LOL. Yeah, now you can do it. Go play around with it. It's pretty cool. Apple even gave you PRE-VIBES.
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> And turn Custom Vibrations -> On
Then:
Settings -> Sounds -> Scroll right to the bottom to Vibration Patterns

7) Wireless Syncing!
Definitely awesome! You don't need to sync using those white cables. Connect with the same Wi-Fi as your computer/mac, voila! Settings -> General -> iTunes WiFi Sync -> Sync Now

8) Twitter!

You don't know how happy I am to see this option being integrated with iPhone! Well, not ecstatic, but happy. This time, you just go to your iPhone Album and click send to Twitter!

9) Photo Editing & New Album

You know one of those days when you realized... all of my pics are so cluttered! Yep, I feel that way. This is by far the greatest organization on iPhone for pictures! duh.
Editing: Just go to the picture and click the edit.

10) Camera Shortcut from Lockscreen!

DOUBLE TAP YOUR HOME BUTTON. Click and you got the picture!

Since I know a lot of people who are into the Japanese cultures, anime, manga, and all other aspects of Japanese, I would like to make a contribution by posting an all-out blog about Japan-- how, when, where, and what. Also, since I'm part Japanese myself, I'd like to definitely help others out there who are also mix bloods like me, and have lost touch with their "Japanese"-ness. Hello!

Free Travel to Japan?!

Here we go:

First, I'd like to go ahead and share the news about the possibility of YOU going to Japan. Yes, YOU. One of my friend shared this news via Facebook, and caught my attention, which in turn made me want to share this with you. According to Danny Choo's Blog, "the Japanese ministry of tourism is going to invite 10,000 foreigners to Japan - and pay for your travel." Apparently, after the earthquake, travels to Japan have been decreasing, and they would love for you to come back and experience Japan in its entirety-- with a new perspective and mindset. Wouldn't you love to participate in this matter? Here's the scoop. Go to Danny Choo's blog and participate in their survey, and follow their news blog. The application has not started, but keep on a look out on the Japanese Tourism website: http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng for any news and updates. This is Danny Choo's blog about the Japan Free Travel: DannyChoo.com. Go ahead and check out his blog too! I'm pretty sure, it will entertain you as it has for me.

Beginners, Newbies, Learners

As I have said this before, I am also a Japanese beginner. I don't know much about its language, much less about the Japanese culture --- not 100%. For those of you who are not fortunate enough to learn Japanese in your high school, university, etc. here are some of the best compilation of sites in which I find very helpful to increase your knowledge in Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. No, what about grammar? Oh yes, for English speakers, this will be a tough one, because their grammar styles are not similar to how English is spoken. You'll understand why when you see it. If you believe that you have SOME levels of practice in Japanese, go to N2-- N1 is literally for basic hiragana or for those of you who want to review your knowledge. If you have a strong foundation in reading and understanding Hiragana/Katakana, go to N3/N4/N5. It depends on your level. Try them out; if they're too hard, go a level lower. I believe that if you really want to learn and can put your mindset into something, you will achieve it. Just like learning Japanese, no matter how old you are, you are still capable of learning. Don't give up, ok? Oh, there are tons of "print outs" available for you to practice writing. The answer to learning is in practice.

On mobile, on particular the iPhone, I have a couple of suggestions. Do not pay for an app you do not know anything about. I have a couple of free ones that deserve a 5-star, and the quality reached beyond what you probably can receive from a paid app. No, I do not go against app developers who want to charge for their apps, I'm just saying that there are good ones out there, and they are free. However, if you do believe that you know an app that is great, and you paid for it, great! Share with us!

I feel like this app is very comprehensive on their Japanese basics. They give you study cards, lessons, and quizzes to get you geared up for your daily Japanese learning. On top of that, they cover the hiragana, katakana, kanji, grammar, and all other necessities to get you started (they also give in a little kick on some of the slangs and idioms native Japanese people use, so you might sound smarter and not so much like a foreigner when you go to Japan, hehe). Forget those basic "learn Japanese in 1 day" books, you've got this app that will do the trick! On top of that, it's good for your iPhone and iPad! Check out their website: Kotobainc.com

Learn 日本語

This is probably one of my favorite "books" to read for getting you in touch with some basic grammar. I do have SOME Japanese background in reading H/K/Kanji, but I need grammar help still. Try it out! They cover the "writing system" (which is also helpful if you need help with the basics), Basic Grammar, Essential Grammar, Special Expressions, and Advanced Topics. Oh boy oh boy! Nihongo Up (Game)

This is basically a game that you do if you feel like reading Japanese basics are just not enough. Go play some games (shooting, fill-in-the-blanks, etc) to get your knowledge tested. Not bad for a review. Homepage link: here

JA lite

Yes, this is a lite version. It's already very helpful, by itself being a lite version. This will suffice by itself- until you're done.

Kotoba

This is by far the most important app that you can find. The dictionary! And most of all, it's free! The best "paid"-like app that you need to have if you plan to learn and understand Japanese.

Know this, there is not one good app that will satisfy your every needs. If you want convenience from the touch of your hands, you will need multiple apps to get started. All of the apps I've mentioned above are not sufficient by itself. You need practice, which websites will provide with the most extensive exercises to get you writing and writing and writing. Japanese is not something that you can learn in an instance-- so learning "Japanese in ONE day" is a bogus. There's just no way, unless you're some incredible, crazy, genius. Which I believe you are :D So now, get going!

I recently stumbled upon this app, kind of late, but better than never. I certainly love it, and enjoying this app ever since. It's the new trend-- on iPhone for fashionistas. I'm guessing that it's rather a new concept (on iPhone), and recently published on iTunes store. It's an app where you pose your love for fashion to other fashionistas around the world! You can link this app to your Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. for easy upload! It's amazing! Similar to Twitter/Tumblr, but for Fashion. Free Gift from Pandora Jewelry

Just a couple of weeks ago, I received a mysterious jewelry package from Pandora in the mail. Unexpectedly... I don't remember having anything to do with Pandora, much less with buying a jewelry. I was so caught up with skin care products that I forgot about pampering myself with jewelry! /neglect/

Anyways, when I received a package in the mail from Pandora, I was stupefied. Did someone use my credit card and swipe it to buy a jewelry? I know Pandora is somewhat in the higher-end jewelry brand, along with Tifanny & Co, which is why I drew a blank. Credit card fraud is not rare. When I opened the package, it came with a little postcard saying, "Thank you for your participation in our survey." Ah-ha! It's a $95 worth jewelry just popped in my mailbox, and it's free! Oh Jeeebus. Remember that tweet I tweeted a couple of months back? Yea, it's here now.

Have you guys heard of Pandora Jewelry? No, not the radio that plays the music you like, or the hat. /lol/

It's a jewelry brand from Denmark. It sells customizable charm bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces in more than 50 countries (source). Ironically, I haven't seen many stores in California. /surprisingly/ The only store I saw was in San Francisco, in Union Square Westfield Mall. I was so surprised to see it! I know people used to order Pandora jewelry from an authorized third-party seller, since they lack physical stores in California, but wow a real, physical store!

Here's a close up to the gem. The gemstone (Murano Glass) has silver engraved writings that say Pandora, and on the other side: 925 ALE. Why? Here's how to make sure your Pandora bracelet/gems are authentic.

The Pandora Hallmark

The first way to know whether an item is an authentic Pandora is in accordance with the Pandora company’s guidelines when it comes to looking for the Pandora hallmark on the Bead or Bracelet.

Most Pandora jewellery items are now marked with the letters ‘ALE’ together with 925 on silver items and the numbers 585 on gold items. ‘ALE’ are the initials of Per Enevoldsen’s father who was called Algot Enevoldsen. Per Enevoldsen is the founder of Pandora so the lettering now displayed on Pandora jewellery is the original jeweller’s hallmark. 925 is the jewellery symbol representing silver and 585 is the jewellery symbol representing 14ct gold.

Here's a look at the jewelry with my hand.. I find it to be simple, and yet elegant. The gem itself is covered with flower shades. Very chic. It's 925 silver (the corners), and the bracelet is made out of leather. Very strong. Not bad, I'd say it's one of the better freebies I've received. Couldn't say much less.

Here's the store in San Francisco, Union Square at Westfield Mall. I happened to stop by to get a closer look at Pandora Jewelry store. I'm guessing it's one of the few stores in California. The store is very white (bright)! I likee.

I can't really go in there to take a picture. I'm not a licensed photographer. Window shopping with my camera is what I do best.

Remember back in the old days when contact lenses are transparent? Back when beauty and style are presented through your skin, hair, or fashion wear? I suppose this ongoing trend of "fashion" is striving to get the best look to beautify the human race. Then again, what is considered "extreme"? It used to be that when you buy cat eye contact lenses, you'd be one of the extremes. Nowadays, if you change to different color contact lenses, you'd be beautiful. Say, an Asian girl with a honey-glazed color, or bbyblue/pink color contact lenses might actually look splendid and beautiful. Remember when the sayings used to be "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," now you can say "beauty is in the eye of the holder."

What do you say, hm? After watching that video, doesn't make you go WTF? IMO, it makes you look bleh... not so beautiful. But then again, I don't mind having the eye contact lenses as an eye candy; not so much for wear. Did you see the people modeling for these contacts? They probably looked a lot better without. Also, the guys wearing the contact lenses looked like a serial killer with the lenses-- just saying.

This contact lenses were created by an Indian optometrist Chandrashekhar Chawan of Shekhar Eye Research Center in Mumbai. The contact lenses are designed to hold water in front of the eye so that they can be worn comfortably and can be made to correct any visual impairment. I saw this bizarre news on MSNBC, then on Yahoo!, and so on. It's like the "breaking news" in fashion. Though, it's not so much of a fashion... I dont think. Well, in my humble most opinion, I don't think I'd ever buy these. Not only because I'm going to have a heart attack, I might as well kill myself for buying such an expensive contact lenses. They're worth the look, but not so much for wear. Or, if you're rich enough, you can have these as one of your luxurious jewelry.

I don't know about you, but I LOVE deals! It's my way of trying new things -- food, hotels, and spa. Why pay something upfront with full price? Especially if you don't know if you'll like it. A couple of months ago, I score myself half-a-dozen cupcakes for $8-- that's 50% off regular pricing! I love red velvet cupcakes, so I went and pampered myself with 6 of them babies. Textbooks! Why are you so expensive? (Top 10 Links)

So I went to my University's bookstore last week; I was hoping to get a deal because they (the bookstore) will guarantee to "match up" with the cheapest price offered by third-party sellers. When they say that, they really meant only "the official sellers" like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or etc -- not sellers like us (which happened to be the cheapest seller ever). I did, however, score a couple of $$ off. I saved $80 compared to paying $200 for my textbook (yes, singular). I still can't believe these textbook publishers continuously updating their textbooks to 6th ed., 7th ed., and so on... I understand that humans found new "knowledge," but updating it every year?! Think of the students! Ok, so if that won't do, I believe we should have the options of buying any editions we want! (Ok, just don't buy five editions older than the new one). I don't understand why so many professors have issues with students buying an edition lower than the "newest" edition of the textbook. One of my professor once said, "Nothing changed, really. Just a couple of paragraphs added here and there. Or rather, some extra exercises or questions to ponder." I can't say all textbooks are like that, but chill on the publishing, will you?

Anyways, I was proud to have accomplished such huge savings (I've scored better savings but for the sake of this post, let's leave it at $80 off), and I'm willing to share these links with you-- into one short blog post. I've used these money-saving sites to compare different prices for both International edition and/or the original from 200+ online bookstore. Note: International editions are similar to original in ways that the original ones are ripping us off our $$. I find no difference in the two editions-- just one cheaper, and the other not so cheap. If you're skeptical about it, then stay with the original.

Please use these sites responsibly. I don't want this awesome opportunity of finding cheaper textbooks to disappear because some lame person decides to jeopardize it for the rest of us. On a lighter note, I hope these links will save you a couple of bucks. It won't help much, but if you're willing to save money, anything can help. If you're willing to find it, then you will! Books are not meant to be sold at such a high price. Education should be free-- or at least, nearly free.

Ever since UC tuition fees hiked, I've been dreading these textbooks prices. TG I'm graduating soon. Although some of you are still in college, don't give up!

They do overlap with each other; however, some search engines might include one or two sites that are not included in another. Do you get what I mean? That's why there are so many of them. Choose your pricing wisely. Don't fall into temptation in buying the first known cheap price. Keep searching until you find the cheapest of the cheapest. Ok, that just sounds desperate lol. Some of you guys might want to consider renting your textbooks. That is to say if you really really can't find the cheapest deal, and your textbook is just way out of your league, definitely find rental option a good way to save some money. There are some good sites out there. Don't just stick with the ones I post in here. Note: These sites require deposits-- they have to make sure you don't destroy their textbooks or lose it. If you really are considering rentals, check your university's bookstore to see if they offer this method first. Reason? It is safer for you to rent your textbooks from your local university's bookstore vs. online sites-- you can save the hassle of returning the books via mail (to prevent damage or lost in the mail or late returns- rack up more fees). Also, I believe, you don't have to pay for the deposit-- at least, not for my university's bookstore. Not only that, you can save on shipping!

Another way to save money -- If you can't find the cheapest textbooks online via sites I've mentioned above, and you don't want to do rentals, then your last bet is to search via the plain ol' classic search engine-- the "google" or "bing" or whatever. Find the ISBN#, Title, Author, and Edition# and search by adding keywords: "cheap textbook," "used," or "cheap" in front or after.

Please try to buy your books ahead of time.

Why Look So Tired?

You know it's one of those days. When you stayed up so late the day before, and you just feel like a dead zombie walking the morning after. What are those "dark circles" under your eyes? It's puffy, dark, and it made you look like a panda. But then again, I think pandas are cute, who knows *shrug*. You might even look cute with the black eye @_@

Do you know that when you sleep less than 7-8 hrs a day, you're killing not only your brain cells, but your skin cells? I think you guys should know that by now. A lack of sleep or excessive tiredness can cause paleness of the skin, allowing the blood underneath the skin to become more visible and appear bluer or darker around the eyes (in most cases). Not only that, it gives your skin a lack of energy to regenerate itself to fight bacterias-- creating more pimples, breakout, even lines (yikes!). So, don't do it if you don't necessarily have to. Unless you want to look like an ogre witch.

So, for those of you who want to quickly regenerate the look of your skin-- try this. It might not be a comprehensive "technique," but it sure is a quickie one. I'll walk you through some "quickie steps" for the night when you KNOW you'll be awake until 4 or 5, maybe even until 7am. Oh Gee.
*Note: Don't kill me if it doesn't work. It works for many, you might be able to benefit when you try.

1. Garnier Skin Renewal (Anti-Puff Eye Roller)

Okay, this is not MAGIC. You just can't completely erase 100% visibility of the dark circles. Also, this is not for someone whose had PUFFY, DARK circle eyes for a long long time or for the insomniacs (sorry!). Again, this is not a magical potion. It's good for temporary "effect." I noticed people on Amazon, Target, or blah blah site rated this product a 3 1/2-star or less. C'mon guys, be real. Some, maybe almost all, products out there are giving you the benefit of the doubt. It wont tell you, "Hey guys! This is for a temporary effect-- do try!" No, they all want you to believe that their product actually works. Duh. But in many cases, these products do deliver their promises. In which case, temporarily. So, here's what I do to help myself achieve this "temporary" healing from this "eraser" pen.

When my clock starts to hit the 3am, and I'm still awake... this calls for some thing I called the "puffy roller." It only takes a couple of minutes to dab and roll, roll, roll under the eyes (the "bag" areas) in a half-circular motion. You'll feel a bit cold and tingly sensation, but that's just the "liquid" feeling. Now, leave it for the rest of the night. I'm hoping that you'll get at least SOME hours of sleep-- or at least 25 minutes or so (mini nap-like), before you go and do your thing during the day. You'll notice a reduction in the darkening of color around your eyes (puffiness). Once you wake up from your mini nap at night, wash your face and continue on...

2. L'OREAL Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing

So that's that-- with the eyes. What about your pores? Your face needs some lovin' too. Noticed I said that sleeping late at night (less than 7 or 8 hours), or not sleep at all, can cause your skin to fail. Your face, just like your body, needs at least 6-7 hours of sleep to regenerate/rejuvenate/process: read more. I know how much you hate sleep-- aren't they a waste of time? /sarcastic/ :). When you begin to sleep lesser and lesser hours daily, your skin started to develop lines and saggy pores (also known as big eww-ie pores). When you have open pores, you'll meet a bad bacteria called Mr. Acne. Here's a tip with the green pump.

After you rolled the "puffy roller," take L'Oreal SGPM and dab it to the areas of your face that are "prone" to generating open/big pores. You don't know where? Then, find the area in your face where you notice a little more "prone" to acne. Dab at the targeted area and massage it. Let it dry and go to sleep.

3. H2O Line Resolution Sea Result SPF 30

You need your sleeping beauty hours. AT LEAST 7 HOURS! :) I saw the unimpressive rating of this product from an Ulta buyer (yea, literally just one review). I don't believe this cream even has a smell... which is weird to see "Bad smell" as one of her cons. I personally think that this cream has no fragrance. On the contrary, it is somewhat "oily" when you first put it on your face. So I suggest leaving it for a couple of minutes, or to make the process of drying faster-- stand in front of a fan, and then put your makeup on top (if you use foundation). This cream is le combo. It has both the SPF 30 needed to protect your face from sun damage, and lines correction. You don't have to be old to have lines-- stress, acne, and lack of sleep all contribute to the formation of lines on your face. I'd give this product a 4.3 star on overall effectiveness, fragrance, and ease of use.

4. H2O Dual Action Eye Makeup Remover

A powerful oil-free makeup remover that sweeps away the most tenacious eye makeup and mascara without harming delicate skin with Sea Mineral Complex

I recommend products that are made by "sea minerals." It's not harmful to your skin like many ingredients out there. This product, I feel, is by far my most used "makeup remover" brand. It's harmless and effective in erasing all my makeup debris. You'll be amazed at one swipe of your eye, and poof! 98% of eyeliner, mascara, etc disappeared from your eye (notice do one eye at a time to notice the difference). I love using products that will not have "drying" side effects after use. So this is by far the safest and most effective remover, imo.

5. H2O Hand and Nail Cream

You have to take care of your hands, period. Last time, I saw someone with dry, cracked, and peeling hands-- and I wondered, "What does it take for someone to have hands like that?" I don't understand why some girls don't care much about their hands. For the most part, your hands are your daily "tools" to do everything (most of the time)-- even hold hands with that special someone (if you have one or planning to have one), and think of what it'll feel like when someone saw/touched your hands! After much applications of stuff onto your face... like toners, cream, etc., and applying nail polish, etc., your finger tips will often get very dry. Don't leave it alone-- apply lotion. I recommend this because I'm a super budget shopper. A combination for both hands and nails? No way! Happy shopper. It's unscented too-- that is if you don't like fruity, strong smell after the usage of lotion. I rate this a 4.6 for overall.

Side note: Do you know? If you put more hand sanitizer than necessary, you're actually putting yourself to a more risk of more harmful bacteria to stay in your hand/palm: source. You'll also kill the good bacterias -- that's not good.

What is SPOTIFY? Free and Instant Invitation?

Spotify is a UK music program that lets you share music with virtually any computers/devices! It has now finally arrived in US! So excited!! Unfortunately, this is by invitation only (again, like Google+). So, this is exclusive. On their homepage, you are asked for your email address-- that is an invitation given directly from Spotify. I don't know how long it'll take until they send out mass invitations. I was caught in between the invitations from Coke or Klout. Okay, enough about the invitations. Let's dig in to what Spotify is about! In the end of this post, I'll post the link to where you can get an invitation INSTANTLY. Yep! You got that right! No need to wait! :)

Hi!

Recently, Google+ has been the talk of town lately. It's the new "trend"; the new "Facebook." It now has over 10 million users--- believe it or not, based on invitations and words-of-mouth alone!
I like it. The interface is rather simple and clean. I also heard that Google is trying to monopolize the entire Internet... I don't know about that. Anyways, Google+ is almost like Facebook & Twitter interface-- it's very similar.
Here's a good way to put it:

"Google+ is like Facebook having sex with Twitter before they knew they were related." - Dane Cook

This is what it looks like INSIDE:

A couple of things I need to break down. I don't like how it doesn't have a wall. Technically, it's just like Twitter. You post via status and speak your heart out. Make it into DM (Direct Message) or a Tweet. If you want to post something up on G+, you can choose who can see and can't see the album/status/etc. You can put people on a lists of "circle." Not bad...

Do you guys know that there are lots of...

Cute Japanese & Korean iPhone/iPod/iPad apps?

(Asian-programmed app -- I'm not saying US made apps are not cute...)

Sadly, not many people are able to find them in the midst of the hundreds and thousands of apps on iTunes added daily.

I am the queen of finding cute apps (self-proclaiming, lol)!

Fear not, I will try to find them and let you know if they're worth it to buy/download.

Some are free (for limited time) or free (permanently); Otherwise, you can always purchase them from the iTunes app store.

Please support these programmers; these apps are not easy to make. These people invest their time and money to create the apps for all to use. Any questions in regards to the apps, please direct them to the developer. Also, please see the compatibilities before you download; some may not be compatible with all versions of iPod/iPhones.
Note: Most of these apps should be downloaded to iOS devices that are 3.1+ or 4.0+.

It's like Purikura, Puricute-- the app adds glitter, cute decals into your picture to add a touch of "cuteness."

What I think:

It's a cute idea, but I can find better. Nonetheless, this app is free. It doesn't hurt to try. Some apps might suit you, and others do not. I do not find this app suitable to me. Let me know how you like it-- that is, if you decide to download and try.

푸딩 카메라 By KTH (Pudding Camera)

What it does:

This app is probably, by far, my most cherished app. I love this app. It contains 8 different camera and 8 different film types embedded within an app: Basic, Snap, Panorama, Fantasy, Motion 2x2, Motion x4, Fisheye, Motion x2; Basic, Vintage Brown, Vintage Blue, Vignetting, Dazzle, Mono, Noir, Vivid.

What I think:

I love it. The only downside to this is that this app is in Korean-- literally. You've got to guess your tapping skills to see which is which-- I'm kidding. This app is kind of a no-brainer; there are icons on the top of every Korean writings to let you know if you click on an "email" icon, you'll be directed to an email app to send, and so on. The photo effects are amazing! Not bad for a free app.

You just basically need to know the three last icons from the left.

The twitter/facebook icon, email icon, and the delete one-- yay!

Megu Kawaii Pet

What it does:

Megu is a pet-raising game. You feed and interact with your Megu (the pet) daily; as you gain money (and level up), you can buy better food, furniture, and a bigger house for your Megu. The pets' physical look changes as you level up (some cute, and some not so very cute). Not to mention, you can interact with others' pets via Twitter/Search. What I think:
Have you ever played TAMAGOTCHI? It's exactly like it-- well, without the annoying noises telling you that your pet is hungry/thirsty/near dying... Megu took it to the next level, modernized it, and brought it to U.S. from Japan! I really like it. It's so cute! --Update July 16, 2011-- They added "Ball Toss" to play ball with your Megu!

Sushi Cat

What it does:
You hold the medium fat cat on the top of the screen and drop him into the screen to bounce around like a jelly to get sushi. The goal is to make him as FAT as possible so he can save his baby girl from an evil dog.

What I think:
This game is SO adorable. Yet again, what's not to love! This game is offered by Armor Games. I was addicted to this game for so long-- and I even waited for the sequel to come out. I find the game to be very entertaining-- especially if you want to kill time. This game is currently .99¢ on iTunes; sometimes, Sushi Cat is offered free for your iPhone/iPod-- catch it when you see it. You can also play this game on PC/Mac via link. Let me know how you like it.

It's a picture decorator app. It's in Korean (sorry!), but it's so cute!
Here's a preview: link. Again, this app is "somewhat" easy to understand (even if you don't understand Korean-- neither do I). Here's what it looks like from my end:

What I think:
This is a really cute app. If you love adding cute stuff to your picture (mostly girls heheh), then this app is definitely for you. I know the writings are in Korean, but if you go to Purikura/Puricue, they're all in Japanese! Don't let it stop you from getting this app! :) Definitely a keeper.

What it does:
Your goal is to create as many of those jobs available to these 8-bit characters. As you decide, you can choose which category to build from: Recreation, Food, Service, Retail, Creative. Each of these categories have "jobs"; for example, you chose Food-- Sushi/Sky Burger/Diner/etc will pop randomly. You want to create apartments for people to live; once they arrive, you find out what their stats are like, and see if you can give them their dream job. YES, it's in 8-bit, which makes it even better and cuter!

What I think:
I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS GAME. Not to mention, it was also chosen for the App Games of the Week. Trust me, it's worth it. It's a 5-star game! Don't worry about those people who rated it a one-star; they don't see eye-to-eye with the rest of the app users (kidding). If you want a time-killer, this game is for you. Want something cute? What I think:
This game is definitely addicting. Oh, when you pop them, you get star points, and they even make cute/strange/funny sounds. Anyways, I got this app for free when they did the promotion freebie with FreeAppsADay. I don't know if they'll be doing another promotion anytime soon, but in the mean time... go download it!

The Rainy Day

What it does:
This app is about a guy who supposedly left his umbrella at home because he heard that it was going to be sunny. Apparently, it started to rain. Your goal is to get him home safely without being "too" drenched; you have a water gauge. Make sure you get him away from obstacles that will jeopardize his "safety." You need to get away from boxes, cans, and thunder. You want to save the lost cats and dogs. Also, try to get coffee, umbrella, ufo hat, etc... to decrease/help/protect your water gauge.

What I think:
I think this game has potential. It's really adorable; the art is well drawn. I gave it a 4.5 star :) It's pretty fun... though the game ended fairly quickly.

The Rainy Day 2

What it does:
This game is a sequel to the first one-- above-- but better. Notice the controls? It's more defined. Instead of saving the cats and dogs while you walk/run/sprint, you will need to grab posters on the wall, get the cat/dog, and direct them to the animal clinic.

What I think:
In my opinion, I think this game is being "more" realistic as compared to the first one. I like how the buttons are more defined too. Definitely better-- worth the download.

I THINK THIS IS BY FAR MY BEST CHOICE OF PICTURE MANIPULATION APP. Well, besides Instagram. The only downside is: This App is in FULL Chinese. If you don't know Chinese, just play around with this app. I guarantee you that this is really worth it. This app can do what Instagram does, but better. It can make multiple images into ONE -- in any way you want them to be. Want to make them stack on top of each other? Line them up from top to bottom? Collage them? Yes, this is the best. Oh, I had to TRANSLATE.GOOGLE.COM the Chinese letters (LOL). If you still can't find them on the App Store, click the title.

Oh, dont tell me about the installation of "emoji app" onto the iphone. I tried that already. In fact, my Japanese friends also told me about it. Ironically, they do use them... which is weird. Mini Fuji Instax 25 | | チェキ Hello Kitty (JPN) [OPENING V-DAY PRESENT]

Remember my post from January 9th, 2011?!?
I talked about the Mini Fuji Instax 7s & 25 version.

I can't believe my baby bought me this new toy straight from JAPAN!! *OMG* It even has the JAL sign & nicely "taped" box with the Asian brown tape! *haha I feel like a noob kid*

I was in disbelief at first when he told me he got something big for me! I thought he was going to just take me to a romantic restaurant, get me a chocolate (which he already did), or buy me a chocolate combo from Godiva or something! But not THIS big! :)

They sell this on Amazon for $313- here OR if you're lucky, again I will re-post here, on eBay, you can find it for less! I have mentioned on my previous post that Fuji Mini Instax can get to as low as $80, that is (I repeat) the original Fuji Instax camera (without the チェキ sign & Hello Kitty engraved on the top right of the camera---lower version of 25: 7s).

Also, from previous experience of the "older" version of this camera- "Fuji Instax 7s," they do not have many options/choices. For example, Fuji Instax 7s does not have an "auto flash" or "panoramic" view. That is pretty much what you are sacrificing (IMO). However, if you're like a HELLO KITTY freak (nicer: LOVER), you might want to get the チェキ Hello Kitty Version of Fuji Instax Mini 25! 25 is the upgraded version (duh! lol).
I've been playing with this thing for over 2-3 hours, getting my fingerprints all over it! Making sure that I know how to use this, of course. What I found to be interesting is how CUTE & TINY the Polaroids are. It's adorable!

Anyhoo, now I have a new collection to my camera!!!

24-Hour Loreal Lash Boosting Power Serum

I've tried it. It sorta work, and sort of not. What do I mean by that? It makes it feel like a placebo effect is taking place when I'm using it. I mean, it says it will "extend" your eye lashes within a couple of uses. But I had to buy it a second time- to see the result. You will definitely need to buy a second "serum" for a better look. Oh, and notice the "mascara". That will definitely make your eye lashes longer- after you use the serum. So it's a combo kind of thing. Once you use the Serum in the morning, let it dry- and put on your mascara like usual. The effect will be amazing. (You can see that your eye lashes are actually longer like medium fake lashes- HAHAHA) Night time, you definitely need to use the serum. (I always forget... urgh. It feels weird to use "serum" at night... it feels wet in the eyes) Let it dry before you go to sleep. You can't see a huge change in one night (DUH! LOL) but it works... very slowly. 2nd bottle of serum- max.
Here is a picture. As you can see, the serum makes your eye lashes "thicker" and a bit "longer".

Clinique Acne Solutions Post Blemish Formula

Don't you just hate those blemishes that wont go away after pimples/zits erupted out of your skins? It's disgusting & it's bothersome. Not to mention, darn the spots that makeups wont "hide" Urgh. Anyways, Clinique is like... one of the best "brands" out there, next to Neutrogena and Clean & Clear or Clearasil (Which I think do not work- IMO). Best about this, you can use it under make up! So it heals when you hide them.
